UAE-Iraq travel: Emirates announces to operate all Baghdad flights with Airbus A350
Business, Premium Economy, and Economy seats upgraded for consistent travel
DUBAI – Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, will operate its Airbus A350 aircraft on all seven weekly flights to Baghdad starting 1 January 2026.
Currently, Boeing 777 aircraft serve four of these weekly flights on EK 943/944.
The change ensures passengers experience the airline’s latest cabins on every journey, maintaining comfort and service consistency across the schedule.
Cabin experience
The Emirates A350 is configured in three classes. Business Class features 32 lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 layout, while Premium Economy offers 21 seats in a 2-3-2 arrangement.
Economy Class provides 259 spacious seats in a 3-3-3 layout.
Passengers can enjoy wider aisles, quieter cabins, advanced lighting to reduce jet lag, and an elevated cinematic experience via the airline’s award-winning inflight entertainment system, ice.

The exclusive deployment of the A350 on Baghdad flights reflects Emirates’ enduring dedication to Iraq and the broader region. The airline first introduced the A350 to Baghdad in August this year on flights EK941/942. The move signals a long-term commitment to enhancing connectivity and service quality for passengers travelling between Dubai and Baghdad.
